ALTEK® H520

AOC's Altek H520 Series products are thixotropic, prepromoted polyester laminating resins.

Applications

Altek H520 is designed for use in the manufacturing of composite parts using hand lay-up or spray-up application methods.

Benefits

Low Exotherm
The low exotherm of Altek H520 allows for the application of a thick laminate sections that can cure at one time without the generation of excessive heat.

Good Secondary Bonding
AlteK H520 provide good chemical bonding between laminate application if proper application procedures are followed.

Superior Mechanical Properties
When used with the proper glass reinforcement content, AOC's Altek H520 produces a composite with superior mechanical properties that can assist in the reduction of cracking.

Altek® H559

AOC's H559 is a pre-promoted, thixotropic polyester resin formulation made from a base resin specifically designed for general purpose laminating applications.

Applications

H559 is designed for use in the manufacturing of various composite parts in hand lay-up/spray-up applications.

Altek H834 Series is a medium reactive, thixotropic, pre-promoted resin.

Applications

The Altek H834 Series was designed for use in the manufacturing of boats and other composite parts using hand lay-up or spray-up application methods.

AOC's Altek H864 is a medium reactive, resilient, thixotropic, pre-promoted resin.

Applications

The Altek H864 is designed for use in the manufacturing of boats and other composite parts using hand lay-up or spray-up applications methods.

AOC's Hydropel H032 Series is a thixotropic, unpromoted, vinyl ester modified resin.

Applications

AOC's Hydropel H032 Series is designed for use in the manufacturing of boats or other composite parts using hand lay-up or spray-up application methods. Hydropel H032-B Series is designed to be used for the construction on the total composite.

HYDROPEL® H036

AOC's Hydropel H036 Series is a thixotropic, pre-promoted, isophthalic, modified vinyl ester resin.

Applications

AOC's Hydropel H036 Series is designed for use in the manufacturing of boats or other composite parts using hand lay-up or spray-up application methods. For boat fabrication, Hydropel H036 Series can be used either in a skin coat or for the complete laminate to obtain the maximum benefits.

  • Maximum resistance to osmotic blistering when used for the skin coat or the complete composite.
  • Excellent strength and toughness of the finished composite part.
  • Provides improved resistance to cracking caused by the flexural failure of the laminate even when used only for the skin coat.

HYDROPEL® H010-W

Hydropel H010-W is a fully promoted, thixotropic, vinyl ester barrier coat for spray applications behind gel coat.

Applications

Hydropel H010-W is designed to be applied in back of the exterior gel coat to provide a barrier to water.
