AOC Announces Price Increase for Europe

AOC announces a price increase of € 50 to € 100 per metric ton, depending on specific product series, for resins shipped to European customers after 15 September 2006. This is in addition to the previously announced pricing action that will become effective 1 September 2006.
"With oil prices now at record levels and expectations of further major increases, once again there is significant upward movement in the pricing of our major raw materials," says Stephen Olle, Managing Director, AOC International. "In addition to escalating oil prices we are seeing continuing shortages of some raw materials in Europe with no immediate relief in sight."
