AOC announces price increase for products shipped from Thailand and Vietnam

AOC, LLC announces a price increase for all products shipped from our Thailand and Vietnam plants for Asian customers. The amount for polyester resins is US$0.12 per kg and vinyl ester resins is US$0.19 per kg. The effective date is January 30, 2010.
The drivers for this increase include rising energy and feedstock prices that have resulted in extraordinarily high raw material price increases. Natural gas prices have steadily increased while crude oil prices have made a steep change and are now trading at US$80 per barrel. This trend of increases is forecasted to continue throughout the first quarter of 2010.
