AOC announces price increase for Europe
AOC, LLC announces a price increase for all Polyester and Vinyl Esters resins. The increase will be € 140 per metric ton and effective on all shipments on and after January 30, 2010 from its European plants.
The drivers for this increase include rising energy and feedstock prices that have resulted in extraordinarily high raw material price increases. Natural Gas prices have steadily increased as the bitterly cold weather continues, while crude oil prices have made a steep change and are now trading at $80 per barrel. This trend of increases is forecasted to continue throughout Q1 2010.
