AOC announces price increase for Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean

AOC, LLC announces a price increase of US$0.08/LB (US$0.18/KG) for Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean for all vinyl ester resins. This is effective on all shipments on and after September 24, 2010.

The drivers for this increase include rising energy and feedstock prices, particularly Chlorendic Anhydride. Supply shortages caused by limited availability have allowed raw material suppliers to increase their prices. As uncertain raw material product availability continues, there may be future price adjustments.
