AOC announces price increase for United States and Canada

AOC, LLC will increase prices on all polyester resin, gel coat, pigments and additive products in the United States by US$0.04 per pound, and CN$0.09 per kilo in Canada. Both price increases are effective for shipments on and after November 8th, 2010.
In these past several months, supply shortages and tightness in various markets have increased feedstock and raw material prices used to produce unsaturated polyester resins and gel coats. Additionally, key raw materials continue to be diverted to foreign/export markets due to the weak dollar and impacting costs. AOC is making every effort and working with suppliers to minimize the effects these rising raw materials prices are having on cost.
