AOC Announces Price Increase for United States and Canada

AOC, LLC will increase prices on all polyester resin, gel coat, pigments and additive products by US$0.06 per pound in the United States, and CN$0.13 per kilo in Canada. Both price increases are effective for shipments on and after March 7th, 2011.
Feedstocks such as butane, propylene, and BTX (benzene/toluene/xylene) used to make key raw materials for unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins continue to increase - compounding raw material increases due to supply shortages and tightness.AOC continues to be well positioned to meet our customer’s supply needs during these difficult times.
