AOC announces price increase on gel coats and pigments

AOC, LLC announces a US$0.10/lb increase on select white, off-white, beige, tan, gray, and other pastel pigmented gel coats, and up to US$0.25/lb increase on similar color ranges of liquid pigment dispersions. The amount of the increase is dependant on the formulation components.
New pricing is effective for all shipments after August 31st, 2011.
This price announcement is in direct response to rising costs for titanium dioxide and other key raw material related components. AOC expects titanium dioxide prices to continue expanding to historically high levels due to strong global demand, and that global market supply conditions will limit titanium dioxide availability for the extended future.
