AOC announces price increase for Latin America
AOC, LLC announces a price increase for all products, including polyester resins, vinyl ester resins, gel coats and pigments in the amount of US$0.05 per pound for all shipments to Mexico, Caribbean, Central and South America. The implementation date for the increase is February 1, 2012.
This action is due to higher prices for several raw materials. Raw material cost increases are driven by rising demand, increased feedstock costs and a stronger export market for petrochemicals. These conditions are expected to continue throughout the first quarter of 2012.
