New Generation Low Styrene, High HDT Resin for Filled Applications

AOC’s Altek® C979-D is a next generation, low styrene resin developed for dual purpose shops. Altek® C979-D can be used as a neat system or filled for shops that require 2 different resin systems. It has a styrene content of 30% with an enhanced Heat Distortion Temperature. The higher HDT allows for post cure of parts without creep or sag of the finished units. The challenge of processing units with low styrene content without compromising the HDT has been met by this new technology of resin.

AOC’s Altek® C979-D is ideally suited for the demanding requirements of manufactures that typically process 2 different chemistries of resin for neat or filled applications.
