Altek® C541-B is a pre-promoted thixotropic, polyester resin designed to be used with filler as a back up laminate for acrylic sheet.

Altek® C541-B has a significantly lower styrene content at equal viscosity than standard products, while maintaining workability. The system is designed for improved rollout of parts with enhanced wetout characteristics.
Filler Loading
AOC’s Altek® C541-B is designed for filler loading up to 50% with Calcium Carbonate or ATH.
Faster Cure Profile
AOC’s Altek® C541-B is unique in that it is designed for quicker hardness development, which speeds up part production. It allows for quicker turnover of molds reducing the number of molds required and/or increases through-put of finished units.
Good Adhesion
Altek® C541-B demonstrates excellent bond strength to acrylic sheet resulting in greater integrity of the laminate and finished part.
